A Divided congress, trade wars and the 2020 campaigns: An update from washington dc

As Speaker Pelosi and Congressional Democrats continue to battle with President Trump, tariffs on imports of steel and aluminum remain in place as the trade war with China, the EU, Canada and Mexico create uncertainty for manufacturers and the economy.

This is your opportunity to hear directly from NTMA's Washington, D.C. lobbyist, Omar Nashashibi, about the latest information on tariffs, trade negotiations, regulations and workforce training. The actions by our federal government have a direct impact on your business and recognizing the threats and
opportunities created by politicians is critical.
