Leading in a multi-generational Workforce

In this session, participants will learn about the five generations - Traditionalists, Baby Boomers, Gen X'ers, Millennials and Gen Z'ers - and their different attributes and challenges they face in order to bring out what is best in them for our organizations.

The following will also be covered during the presentation:
- Overgeneralizing generations
- Motivating different generations
- Communication skills to reach each generation

Barry Royko

Executive Director of Organization Development

Barry Royko is the Executive Director of Organizational Development in the Office of Human Resources. Garry holds an MA in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University, a BA in Management & Labor Relations from CSU and an AA from Lakeland Community College.

Prior to coming to joining Tri-C, Barry served as the Manger of Human Resources/Employee Services in the Food Services Devision at Nestle. He was lead advisor for factory and senior management teams across Human Resource functional areas including associate and labor relations, workers compensation management, associate development, training, succession planning, staffing and related HR legal matters. He is also experienced in continuous improvement methodologies, change management and the implemention of related organizational development initiatives.
